Prayer Works, Even for the President

 Beginning

Today begins a brand new weblog.  As events unfold in this beautiful month of November, one thing is still certain to this religiously oriented writer.

Sadly, we have seen that not all is as it seems. This is especially true politically at this time in the United States of America — the United States, hope of the world, defender of democracy,  is under attack by well-financed persons who care nothing about democracy. Their only concern is for themselves and their wealth. 

This attitude is seen most clearly in Elon Musk at this time.  But Musk is only the most salient example now.  There are many others, all connected by the tissue of greed. The specific form is that long-lasting economic system of extortion — capitalism.

So what is this matter about something being certain?  What is certain in this writer’s mind is the power of prayer. This certainty has been a long time coming. It has been validated by the eyes of experience.

The specific purpose of this blog is to hold up the president and the presidency in prayer at a dangerous and critical moment. The president referred to here is President Joseph R Biden, Jr.

This man, who well knows his limits, is a staunch defender of democracy. AMERICA has just been through an election, the likes of which have scarcely been seen in American history. The rancor has been profound and yet guilt for this rancor resists Overwhelmingly with the party which was once known as the party of Lincoln. But no more.  It is now the party of avarice, control, and Fascism.

At a time like this supernatural power seems to be the only way to go. But it must be the right kind of power from the right source whether we call him, Yahweh, God, Deus, Dios, Dieu, or Allah. The Omnipotent One is the one I am referring to.

This blog, then, will be focused on prayer, and the ones who pray to the Lord God. We should not be embarrassed, nor shall we be wild. Our purpose, after all, is focused on the welfare of our democracy, as led by President Biden. This blog shall be the record of that purpose.
